How to bless your friends before the conference
There are so many things that come to mind when thinking of ways to serve our friends before the NEXT conference. The first one that came to mind and I think the most important one is to pray! My prayer for my friends and for myself is always that God would prepare our hearts for what He has in store for us during this conference. God has something in mind for each and every person that will be attending the conference. Pray that God would give them a focused heart and an undistracted mind. It’s easy to bring our busy lives with us to the conference, but I feel that God is able to work most in our hearts when we’ve left our lives at home, and have dedicated our hearts and minds to learn and grow closer to Him.
Make it a point to ask your friends how they would like prayer, and how they expect God to meet them—which areas they seek to be encouraged in and make it a point to let them know you are praying for them. Maybe God has it on your heart to pray for one specific friend over the next few weeks, or maybe you can pray for a different friend each week, but encourage them and let them know that you are carrying them on your heart and praying for them.

Riette-GREAT reminder! I am definitely encouraged to start purposefully praying for my friends that are going to NEXT. By the way…if you come up with any other ideas just let me know if you need someone to practice on…like say back rubs etc…jk…love ya!
