What are YOUR Prayer Requests?

What are YOUR prayer requests as we approach the start of the conference? (17 days and counting!!) Still trying to come up with the bucks to make it to the conference? (Tip: search your car for loose change. You may not find enough for a flight but it might be enough to turn into a Starbucks treat the last morning of the conference.) Wondering if your boss will give you the time off? Hoping that friend you’ve been encouraging to attend will be able to? Whatever your prayer request is, feel free to leave a comment and we will begin praying!! We also have a team of individuals committed to praying for YOU leading up to, during and even after the conference!! Incredible, huh?

By the way, if you’re wondering how I’m doing on checking things off my task list …dismally. I think I’ve drunk quite a few 2-litres-worth of Diet Coke and the only water I’ve come near was at the beach last week. And I just can’t come up with a song about Next – it seems all the good ones have been written! ::sigh:: However, I AM off to listen to one of C.J. Mahaney’s messages from 2007: Discern Your Heart.

My prayer is to learn more about the word of God and to meet new friends.  I need new Christian friends because all my other friends have moved out of town after they are finishing school…

My prayer is brokenness and a desire for Christ like never before, not just for me but everyone attending this conference. We truly should not leave the same way we came…honestly. Our God reigns! Hallelujah!

My prayer is that the Lord will use the conference to refresh and revive my soul in a way like never before. I desire a true, honest passion for Christ and all things pertaining to Him. I want to behold Him as beautiful, Savior, Messiah, friend, and everything that He is. Also praying for a deep understanding of grace and forgiveness.

One of the corporate requests I am making known in prayer is for GOD to release a tide that will break us of the current division in the church today.  The Body of Christ can not become without spot or wrinkle if we are saving face, holding onto the traditions of men, and unwilling to let go of the cultural / ethnic / social divides that has been limiting our faith for generations.

Personally, through this conference - I am asking for deeper understanding of purpose in respect to my recent career move, and a greater level of impartation of the Spirit to empower me to see more of the vastness of Christ.

My prayer is that I will be filled even more with the Spirit and that I will experience Jesus at a whole new level. My desire is for increased healing and that the things of this world will grow even more dim in the light of who Christ is to me.

I pray for strong relationships to be built in the Lord, and for healing in the hearts of those coming to the conference with heavy hearts because of the emotional pain and suffering due to recently broken relationships. May they be refreshed and pointed to Jesus as the one who will never leave them or forsake them.

Please pray for my friend attending for the first time: that she would see Jesus like never before and become undone by the Gospel and by the preaching of His Word and that revival would happen in her heart. (I believe she is a Christian) Thank you!!

To be refreshed in God, and to be overwhelmed by His love, goodness, and sufficiency in ALL circumstances. I’ve just graduated from college and though I know God has a good and perfect plan for my life, I am struggling with feeling purposeless, and just wondering where God wants me to be, what He wants me to do…

My prayer is that God might motivate my friend to come to next.  I really want for him to want to go.  May the Lord help me encourage him and may he be inspired by His word and life.  I really hope he decides to go.

that God would draw me closer to Him

That those at the conference who are not yet true born-again Christians would be saved

Praying that Jesus wouldn’t be boring in my eyes and that his love demonstrated on the cross would only move me to thankfulness and obedience to him like never before.  I’ve struggled a lot with genuine assurance and have found myself (from Pilgrim’s Progress) locked up in Doubting Castle and receiving multiple beatings from Giant Despair.  And at times, I’ve wrongly, and sadly, thought God was the one who was delivering the malicious blows, but by God’s grace that’s become less and less.  So, definitely praying for a breakthrough and assurance of his love for me…
In the busy and mundane times, may Jesus only be the highlight of the day, week, month, year, and life!

honestly?  I’m tired, sick, and work is incredily demanding.  on top of that, grieving and exhausted.  I know that God’s grace is sufficient for being gone and busy for a weekend that I really could use to rest.

That I would worship without distraction and that Jesus would be my primary focus - that I wouldn’t be distracted by anything around me but only fall more in love with Jesus.  That His plans, not mine, for the time there would be fulfilled; whether that be through reaching out, or quiet times, or whatever He has for me.
